Radio: Rep. Deb Manjarrez predicts Democrats will seek even higher taxes in 2026


Rep. Deb Manjarrez, R-Wapato, predicts that legislative Democrats will “double down” on higher taxes in 2026 to close the gap from declining tax revenues. Joining Robb Francis and John McKay on KONA/KIT Radio’s “The Bottom Line” from the Central Washington Fairgrounds in Yakima, Manjarrez is concerned Democrats will find additional ways to take money from taxpayers to continue to grow state government in Olympia.

Manjarrez also took time to discuss her priorities when the Legislature meets in January for a 60-day session.
